WELCOME TO 2023

WELCOME TO 2023

Hello to you all and a special welcome to our new families.
Monday 30th January sees the beginning of another school year  – I am really looking forward to catching up with you all again. Our new buildings are progressing smoothly and look pretty spectacular. It won’t be long before senior classes will move in; also the Art Room, Library and Science/Technology spaces – I can’t wait!
Meanwhile it has been wonderful to see many of you who have already called into school last week.
On Monday morning, both gates will be opened at 8.45; Barton Street and O’Connor Street, and. I know there will be many excited students ready and waiting to catch up with friends and join their new classes. If you have booked your child into Out of School Hours Care, the O’Connor Street gate will be open.

Election Day Fundraiser May 21st

School Council is currently organising some Election day activities to raise funds for the school. This is an exciting opportunity for our School to connect with the broader local community and to promote Reservoir Primary School.

Activities will include a coffee van, Democracy Sausages, cake stall and an information stall promoting the school and all the exciting new upgrades and infrastructure improvements we are delivering. We are aiming to remind everyone there why Reservoir Primary School is the best school in town – whilst raising some money at the same time.

$15 million for new facilities

Families in Reservoir have done a phenomenal job in supporting students to learn from home. As kids return to their classrooms, we want to make Reservoir Primary School better than before. And that is why it was so wonderful to be able to announce today that Reservoir Primary will receive at least $15.034 million to provide facilities for an additional 150 enrolments for the 2023 school year.
