Hello again everyone,

What a terrific evening it was at our community get together; the weather was perfect and families took advantage of being able to enjoy themselves on the grass (see page 4 for more photos).

We welcome four students from LaTrobe University here each Thursday.

They are second year Occupational Therapy students who are working as a component of a subject; reaching out in different type of communities – all of which they may find themselves working in the future.

They are joining in classroom programs and being a great help.

NAPLAN is underway and will continue into early next week. Year three and year five students are involved.

With only two more weeks of term, time has flown.

Hello again everyone,

Somehow five weeks of school have slipped by. How time flies when we’re busy! It has been terrific to welcome parents into our assemblies on Fridays – if you’re not too busy please call in and join us.

I would like to introduce you all to a new teacher; Lauren Bastone. Lauren will only be with us for a short time as she is replacing James Cosgriff who is currently on Parental Leave. Lauren has picked up exactly where James left off …. having the athletics at Edwardes Lake and now working on skill acquisition for the senior students in preparation for winter sports in Term 2. I know she is also enjoying the younger classes in their Physical Education lessons. Welcome Lauren.

We have just heard that James has become the proud father of a little girl, we all pass on our best wishes to James and his wife Jess.
