Welcome to the June edition of our Foundation newsletter. This letter will focus on how we develop phonetic awareness and how it helps our students learn to read and write.

CUED ARTICULATION

Cued Articulation is a program that uses hand signals to help students understand how a sound is made. To help students learn the cues we have created songs and flashcards that go with each sound. Each song focuses on the letter name, the most common sound it makes and the hand signal.
